Mindrift is looking for a Freelance Software Developer (Rust) - Quality Assurance (AI Trainer) to collaborate on AI projects that improve generative AI models for specialized questions and complex reasoning. What You'll Do

• Perform code generation and conduct rigorous code reviews.
• Evaluate prompts and perform complex data annotation.
• Train and evaluate large language models.
• Benchmark and execute agent-based code in sandboxed environments.
• Work across multiple programming languages, including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, and SQL.
• Adapt project guidelines for new domains and use cases.
• Follow project-specific rubrics and requirements meticulously.
• Collaborate with project leads, solution engineers, and supply managers on complex or experimental projects.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional, hands-on experience with Rust.
• Proven experience with Rust testing tools such as cargo test and property-based testing with quickcheck.
• Familiarity with Rust tooling including Cargo, Clippy, rustfmt, and module/crate management.
• Experience with code review, quality analysis, and identifying/fixing code smells and type issues.
• Familiarity with test integration in CI/CD environments.
• Experience using, integrating, or tutoring others with AI solutions or LLMs in Rust or test automation contexts.
• An advanced (C1) or above level of English proficiency.
• Ability to quickly learn new methods, switch between tasks and topics, and work with challenging, complex guidelines.
