Mindrift is seeking a Freelance Financial Analyst - AI Trainer to apply deep financial expertise to the development of advanced AI. You will create rigorous, realistic tasks to test and train frontier AI agents, directly shaping how these models understand and perform in the financial domain.

What You'll Do

Create complex, realistic tasks that push frontier AI agents to their limits.
Build detailed versions of tasks with objective scoring criteria.
Write ambiguous versions of tasks intended to train the agent to succeed with less hand-holding.
Complete qualification and project onboarding to begin working in production.
Create training prompts and refine model responses, directly influencing model utility.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in finance (e.g., investment firms, banks, consulting).
Advanced (C1) or above proficiency in English.
Familiarity with tools such as Excel (advanced), R, Python, MATLAB, SQL.
Ability to write clearly and professionally, explaining complex tasks in simple, structured language.
Ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources into accurate, coherent outputs.
Creativity in designing realistic and engaging examples, cases, or workflows based on domain knowledge.
Motivation to work with challenging, complex guidelines, learn new methods, and strengthen domain-specific skills.
Readiness to learn new methods and switch between tasks and topics quickly.

Nice to Have

Holding a CFA or any related globally recognized qualification is an advantage.
Experience in cross-functional, applied, or international projects, especially in real-world or consulting contexts.
