As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a central role in shaping financial strategy across a network of 20+ clinical locations. You'll lead the annual budgeting cycle, working directly with site leaders to develop accurate revenue and expense projections based on patient volume, staffing, and payor mix. Your rolling forecasts will reflect real-time operational changes, ensuring leadership has up-to-date financial visibility.
You will prepare and deliver monthly operating reviews, highlighting variances, trends, and performance drivers at the site level. Key metrics such as patient starts, program completion rates, encounter volumes, and contribution margins will be tracked and analyzed to inform decision-making. You'll build and maintain dynamic financial models and dashboards in Excel, enabling clear, actionable insights for operations and executive teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site-level budgeting and forecasting, aligning financial plans with operational realities
- Develop and maintain financial models for labor optimization, provider productivity, and headcount planning
- Deliver detailed variance analysis and performance reporting to support clinic leadership
- Create clear, concise presentations in PowerPoint that translate complex financial data for senior stakeholders
- Support capital planning through scenario modeling for new site launches, expansions, and service line additions
- Contribute to board, lender, and private equity reporting with granular site-level insights
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, including the integration of AI tools into modeling and reporting workflows
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least two years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Excel is essential—specifically in building clean, scalable financial models with scenario analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas. You must also be able to summarize findings effectively in PowerPoint for executive audiences.
