CVS Health is looking for a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate who has passed FPGEE and TOEFL to complete their required US Internship hours. In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to develop skills in patient care, pharmacy operations, and leadership, preparing for licensure exams.

- Ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment under direct pharmacist supervision.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.

- Support the Pharmacy manager in motivating, inspiring, and developing Pharmacy Support Staff.

- Answer telephone warmly and perform approved register transactions.
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality per HIPAA and company standards.
- Comply with all federal/state laws, regulations, and CVS policies/SOPs.
- Adhere to CVS workflow and process prescriptions including labeling.
- Resolve third party rejections and perform prescription pick-up procedures.
- Maintain inventory and assist with putting away drug orders (except Clls).
- Deliver additional health services as allowable (e.g., testing, immunizations).
- Support supervising pharmacist in dispensing drugs and reviewing prescriptions.
- Offer to counsel customers and direct them to the pharmacist when necessary.
- Communicate with Field Management and Corporate as needed.
- Support maintaining a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy department.
- Support scheduling and coordinate training of Pharmacy Support Staff.
- Complete all required training programs.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy.
- Active Pharmacy Intern license in state where district is located.
- Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college/school of pharmacy prior to beginning training program.
- Pharmacist licensure in the state where the position is based within 120 days of completing US Intern hours.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently.
- 0 to 3 years of prior relevant work experience.
Nice to Have
- Eligibility to immunize.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- 3 to 5 years of prior relevant work experience.
Team & Environment
Works under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, reporting to the Pharmacy Manager.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour.
