LSG Group is seeking an outgoing Food Production Operations Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing a team dedicated to delivering quality products. You'll be responsible for monitoring and engaging employees in safety and performance initiatives. This role requires the ability to work 1PM or after.
What You'll Do
- Ensure your area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, directed, and that all delivery times are met.
- Conduct daily work group meetings.
- Schedule and control staff to meet labor productivity and overtime targets.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agency standards (FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, HACCP, etc.).
- Document and follow up on all department processes to implement improvements.
- Ensure on-time and accurate production and/or catering of all flights.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Guide, motivate, and develop staff within Human Resources policies.
- Make the company's values and management principles live in your department(s).
- Manage productivity hours and costs; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations.
- Participate in and support company-sponsored initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety, and Production systems.
What We're Looking For
- Two to five years of supervisory experience within a food production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and lead others to obtain desired results and achieve productivity goals.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations.
- Experience working within fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
- Must be able to work 1PM or after.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00
