GE HealthCare is hiring a FLIGHT DECK Lean Leader to partner with Future of Flight and drive a lean transformation. In this role, you will serve as a facilitator, educator, and coach to engineering and operations teams, helping to embed lean principles and deploy the GE Aerospace FLIGHT DECK operating model.
What You'll Do
- Lead the deployment, coaching and sustainment of the FLIGHT DECK lean operating model across Future of Flight.
- Lead kaizen and improvement projects with a goal of achieving operating goals using KPI-based performance management.
- Coach and collaborate with all levels of the organization and functions to help progress our Lean Culture and drive Continuous Improvement.
- Demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes across all areas while interfacing with high level management teams.
- Utilize persuasion skills required to influence others.
- Coach organizational leaders to deploy Value Stream Management and establish and implement the usage of Problem Solving, Daily Management and Kaizen.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading and managing teams in a Lean environment.
- Must be willing to travel 25% to 50%. If local to Evendale, OH area then 25% travel.
Nice to Have
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with Lean Transformation, Principles & Tools, preferably in a transactional environment.
- Significant and proven experience in teaching, coaching, practicing, and applying lean methods.
- Experience utilizing lean in an NTI/NPI environment.
- Demonstrated bias for action with ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
- Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn.
