The Oregon Health Authority is hiring a Fiscal Analyst 1 (Budget Analyst) to serve the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW). You will coordinate the budget process for the planning and execution of agency programs’ biennial operating budgets and provide consultation to agency management on budget issues.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate the budget process used for planning and execution of agency programs’ biennial operating budgets.
- Assist in providing suggestions regarding agency policy.
- Provide consultation and guidance to agency management on budget issues.
What We're Looking For
- Option 1: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public or Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical or technical degree.
- Option 2: Three years experience in management, policy or program analysis, or technical-level budgetary support activities.
Nice to Have
- Experience applying cost allocation principles.
- Experience tracking and updating budgets.
- Experience projecting impact of actions on revenue and expenditures.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, OBIEE, SFMS, ORBITS/ORPICS, Workday reports, and Power BI.
- Experience budgeting for grants and federal matching funds.
- Experience with the State of Oregon budget process, system, principles and practices.
- Experience with complex budgeting and accounting systems.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $4,409 - $6,736 monthly (non-PERS qualifying). If PERS qualifying, salary range reflects an additional 6.95%.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid-remote position located in Salem, Oregon. After the initial training/onboarding period, you will have the option to work remotely 2-3 days per week.
