Indra Group is looking for a Firmware FPGA Engineer to design and validate high-performance digital systems. You will join a forward-thinking team developing solutions with global impact, applying your expertise to complex FPGA development flows and digital signal processing implementations.
What You'll Do
- Develop firmware for Intel and Xilinx FPGAs, including implementation, simulation, and validation.
- Create test benches and apply verification methodologies to ensure robust FPGA designs.
- Design and integrate IP cores for System-on-Chip (SoC) and embedded architectures.
- Work with high-frequency digitalization systems, including frequency converters and high-speed clock domains.
- Implement digital signal processing modules (filters, FFTs) and manage their implications on FPGA resources and performance.
- Use laboratory instrumentation, including oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, for debugging and validation.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in FPGA development using Intel and Xilinx devices.
- Strong skills with simulation tools, validation techniques, and test bench creation.
- Experience with SoC architectures such as MicroBlaze, NIOS, and advanced Zynq platforms.
- Solid knowledge of digitalization systems using frequency converters and high-frequency clocking.
- Experience implementing DSP modules such as filters and FFTs on FPGAs.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- A high level of English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MPSoC and RFSoC platforms.
- Experience with state-of-the-art FPGA technologies such as Xilinx Versal.
- Knowledge of embedded SoC engineering best practices.
