Indra Group is hiring an FPGA Firmware Development Engineer to join a strategic project within the Defense sector. You will lead the complete firmware development cycle for FPGAs, from requirements definition through to final integration into complex systems.
What You'll Do
- Participate in the entire FPGA development lifecycle: requirements, documentation, design, implementation, validation, and verification.
- Design and implement firmware in VHDL on Xilinx FPGAs.
- Work with MPSoC Zynq Ultrascale+ architectures.
- Perform simulations to validate and verify designs.
- Develop embedded software in C for standalone applications.
- Use tools like Vivado, Vitis, and QuestaSim.
- Conduct testing with oscilloscopes and other measurement instruments.
- Read schematics and review datasheets for component selection.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in design and implementation with VHDL.
- Hands-on experience with Xilinx FPGAs.
- Knowledge of MPSoC / Zynq Ultrascale+ architectures.
- Advanced skills in C/C++ for firmware development.
- Proficiency with electronic instrumentation (oscilloscopes, analyzers).
- High level of English (minimum B2-C1).
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microchip FPGAs and Libero.
- Digital signal processing (filters, FFT, DDC, high-speed ADC/DAC).
- Proficiency with Git for version control.
- Knowledge of Verilog.
- Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
- Basic knowledge of ESSOR Architecture or Link16.
