Indra Group is hiring an FPGA Firmware Development Engineer to join a strategic project within the Defense sector. You will lead the complete firmware development cycle for FPGAs, from requirements definition through to final integration into complex systems.

What You'll Do

• Participate in the entire FPGA development lifecycle: requirements, documentation, design, implementation, validation, and verification.
• Design and implement firmware in VHDL on Xilinx FPGAs.
• Work with MPSoC Zynq Ultrascale+ architectures.
• Perform simulations to validate and verify designs.
• Develop embedded software in C for standalone applications.
• Use tools like Vivado, Vitis, and QuestaSim.
• Conduct testing with oscilloscopes and other measurement instruments.
• Read schematics and review datasheets for component selection.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in design and implementation with VHDL.
• Hands-on experience with Xilinx FPGAs.
• Knowledge of MPSoC / Zynq Ultrascale+ architectures.
• Advanced skills in C/C++ for firmware development.
• Proficiency with electronic instrumentation (oscilloscopes, analyzers).
• High level of English (minimum B2-C1).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microchip FPGAs and Libero.
• Digital signal processing (filters, FFT, DDC, high-speed ADC/DAC).
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Knowledge of Verilog.
• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Basic knowledge of ESSOR Architecture or Link16.
