Moffitt Cancer Center is hiring a Financial Systems Administrator to support the selection, installation, configuration, implementation, and ongoing utilization of our enterprise financial systems and ancillary tools. In this role, you will develop reports and analyses to support Accounting and leadership in identifying financial trends, risks, and opportunities, all while contributing to our mission of preventing and curing cancer.
What You'll Do
- Support the selection, installation, configuration, implementation, and ongoing utilization of Moffitt’s financial ERP systems and ancillary databases.
- Develop reports and analyses from financial systems to support the Accounting department and leadership.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor application interfaces and financial system performance.
- Perform ongoing and ad-hoc financial analyses and support internal control processes.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes, reporting, and projects, including the annual audit and quarterly filings.
- Manage financial systems interfaces and maintain a strong understanding of connected business systems like AP automation and bank transmissions.
- Design and develop security models, and develop or modify calculation rules, allocation scripts, and load rules where applicable.
- Employ best practices, tuning, and performance optimizations for financial systems.
- Develop web forms, task lists, and provide education to customers on reporting resources.
- Develop and maintain controls to ensure data integrity, including financial reasonableness tests.
- Coordinate with IT on production upgrades and communicate their impact to Finance and end-users.
- Continually seek opportunities for new or enhanced reports and analyses.
- Maintain a strong understanding of financial management concepts, operational practices, and Moffitt's specific business processes.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience supporting the full lifecycle of enterprise financial systems (ERP), including selection, implementation, and administration.
- Strong ability to develop financial reports, analyses, and data integrity controls.
- Experience managing system interfaces and understanding connected financial tools like AP automation and GL reconciliation.
- Knowledge of security model design, performance tuning, and best practices for financial applications.
- Ability to perform financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Strong understanding of financial management concepts, including financial reporting, revenue cycle, and accounting.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with IT, educate customers, and communicate system changes.
