As the Financial Services Partnerships Manager for Southern Africa, you will drive the end-to-end partnership lifecycle with banks and financial services providers. You'll act as the central liaison, ensuring alignment between strategic goals, operational execution, and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day engagement with assigned financial partners, fostering trust and collaboration
- Coordinate joint planning cycles, performance assessments, and strategic reviews
- Oversee the implementation of new products and market expansions, ensuring timely delivery
- Align cross-functional teams—including legal, compliance, technology, and product—to meet partner needs
- Monitor KPIs, identify operational bottlenecks, and lead resolution efforts
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, internal policies, and external regulations
- Support onboarding processes, including KYC, documentation, and technical integration
- Track project milestones and drive accountability across teams
- Identify opportunities to enhance commercial models and expand partnership value
- Provide regular insights on partner performance and regional market trends
Requirements
- Proven understanding of treasury operations and liquidity management
- Experience in digital financial services, banking, or fintech environments
- Strong project management skills with a history of cross-team coordination
- Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into action
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfort working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining precision
- Familiarity with secure development practices, including OWASP and NIST standards
