Natera, a global leader in cell-free DNA testing, is hiring a Financial Counseling Specialist (Patient Success Specialist). In this role, you will manage patient-specific eligibility verifications, claims submissions, and reporting functions. You will be a key contributor to improving internal and external protocols while prioritizing tasks to resolve escalations efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Address patient needs with a focus on customer support, logistics coordination, and problem-solving.
- Schedule and coordinate work flow to expedite project efficiencies and resolve escalations.
- Address and resolve assigned inquiries from patients, sales teams, clinics, and executives with urgency.
- Ensure timely closure of escalation cases using email, phone, or salesforce.com.
- Adhere to pre-established guidelines, instructions, and training to perform job functions.
- Review standard operating procedures for common departmental tasks.
- Ensure all data and analysis requests from across the organization are addressed promptly.
- Own the second-level line of escalation for patient billing call center agents and field teams.
- Conduct patient outreach via SMS, email, and phone to resolve escalated issues.
- Participate in operational programs, projects, and initiatives that drive the business forward.
- Keep key internal leaders and stakeholders apprised of escalation status.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with medical billing and coding.
- Excellent customer service skills and phone manner.
- Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid practices.
- Minimum 2 years of Call Center experience in an inbound and outbound capacity.
- Minimum 2 years of salesforce.com experience.
Nice to Have
- Medical billing and coding experience, preferably in a skilled nursing environment.
