What You'll Do
Oversee the end-to-end financial closing processes for the Türkiye entity, aligning both Local GAAP and US GAAP reporting standards. Collaborate closely with the global Accounting Center of Excellence in Ireland to ensure timely and accurate financial results. Take ownership of monthly accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting packages, ensuring consistency and integrity across systems.
Lead statutory reporting, tax compliance, and external audit coordination, while maintaining strong alignment between local and US ledger outcomes. Prepare income tax provisions and support the filing of statutory returns. Act as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, addressing control deficiencies and ensuring adherence to SOX requirements. Provide oversight to third-party service providers and drive process improvements through automation and standardization.
Support treasury functions by preparing cash and currency forecasts used in hedging strategies. Serve as the main finance contact for Türkiye, responding to stakeholder inquiries and contributing to regional financial governance. Mentor local finance personnel and promote strong internal controls across the EMEA region.
Requirements
Hold a recognized professional accounting qualification with at least eight years of experience in multinational financial environments. Demonstrate proven expertise in US GAAP reporting, SOX compliance, and statutory accounting requirements. Possess strong technical skills in SAP and advanced MS Excel. Experience working within matrixed, global organizations is preferred. Must be capable of managing complex compliance landscapes and leading continuous improvement in financial processes.
