Suncorp Bank, part of ANZ Group, is hiring a permanent, full-time Financial Control Analyst to join its Controls Centre of Excellence. In this role, you will use your analytical skills to support global finance control teams and ensure the financial integrity of key processes.
What You'll Do
- Support Controls Centre of Excellence accounting and reporting functions for onshore finance control teams.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information to meet all reporting obligations.
- Maintain financial integrity and controls in Cost-related hub processes.
- Deliver end-to-end accountability for centralised, country-agnostic processes like journals, reconciliations, and reports.
- Develop process expertise while maintaining flexibility across processes within the Centre of Excellence.
- Ensure quality at source by implementing process-level controls.
- Support the team in data sourcing, accounting, and reporting processes.
- Support the implementation and ownership of centralised, standardised processes and controls.
- Accurately and timely deliver standardised outputs to countries, including registers, schedules, reconciliations, and trial balances.
- Support the business unit change agenda, including the elimination, simplification, and automation of financial control activities.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or an equivalent degree.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification with proven experience in finance roles.
- Proven experience collaborating with onshore and third-party teams.
- Working knowledge of Investment and Fixed Asset processes.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
Nice to Have
- PeopleSoft knowledge.
- Automation skills and experience with process optimization tools.
