QuidelOrtho is looking for a Financial Analyst for its US Commercial Organization. You will be a key member of the North America Commercial Finance team, partnering with Commercial business partners to deliver in-depth analytical support for month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

What You'll Do

Perform month-end close responsibilities including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Analyze historical and current financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Support the development of annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with finance and business partners.
Assist with creating presentations for executive reviews in support of quarterly forecast and annual operating plan.
Develop new reporting and analytical tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of monitoring business performance.
Maintain financial reporting systems to ensure alignment with source data and work cross-functionally to resolve system issues.
Perform other special projects assigned including in-depth analysis and participate in process improvement opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in financial and/or strategic analysis.
Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in business, Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite of products, including PowerPoint and Excel.
Self-starter with ability to work with moderate direction as needed.
Strong analytical and communication skills to convey information effectively.
Ability to distill large amounts of data and translate analysis into compelling presentations.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels in an organization.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
High level of accuracy in all work.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
Strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Nice to Have

Experience in SAP and/or other related ERP Systems is a plus.

Team & Environment

You will be part of the North America Commercial Finance team, with extensive contact internally at all levels, providing input to and supporting Senior Management. Key stakeholders include North America and Global Commercial Business Partners, Broader Finance Organization, IT/System Finance, HR, and other G&A functions.
