4 More Capital Partners is hiring a Financial Analyst I - Controller for a fixed-term assignment. In this role, you will assist in documenting and analyzing financial information and preparing key reports while ensuring data quality and adherence to internal controls.
What You'll Do
- Provide cross training and support for new team members and may train junior staff.
- Assist with problem resolution, data interpretation, and variance analysis to ensure timely report submission.
- Analyze results and provide input for management recommendations.
- Prepare financial schedules, reconciliations, and reports for the Corporation, which may include bank regulatory, SEC, shareholder, Board of Directors, and internal management reports.
- Select alternatives from defined options by applying basic finance or accounting concepts.
- Perform data integrity testing, general ledger entries, and adhere to GAAP, SEC disclosure requirements, and bank regulatory requirements.
- Display a foundational understanding of key financial statements, including awareness of key drivers and trends.
- Participate in training and development opportunities across Finance.
- Adhere to department timelines and deliverables.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls, identifying issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the brand.
- Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points and regulatory issues.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- An Associate's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, operations, or financial institutions OR a Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of activities in your own job, with skills gained through training or experience.
- A high level of PC competencies, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
- Detail orientation and good problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience with data visualization or data querying applications.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $24.76 - $41.27 per hour (USD).
