Role Overview:
We're hunting for a financial wizard with laser-sharp attention to detail and Google Sheets mastery who can transform raw data into strategic insights, optimize financial workflows, and drive smarter business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft, maintain, and continuously evolve sophisticated Excel and Google Sheets financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Deep-dive into financial metrics tracking: ROI, CAC, LTV, CPMs, revenue channels, and campaign profitability
- Develop comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for finance, media buying, operations, and leadership teams
- Create precise revenue and expense forecasts based on real-time campaign performance and historical data trends
- Support strategic budget planning and conduct thorough variance analysis for marketing and content acquisition spend
- Proactively identify automation and optimization opportunities in current financial workflows
- Translate complex financial data into crystal-clear, actionable insights and compelling visuals for non-finance team members
- Contribute to month-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting support
- Engage in specialized accounting and finance projects like audits, process reviews, and in-depth data analysis
- Continuously brainstorm and implement improvements to streamline finance and accounts workflows
- Maintain meticulous financial records, manage data entry, track invoices, and handle payment processing
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-4 years experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a similar strategic role
- Google Sheets ninja-level skills - master of formulas, pivot tables, query functions, charts, and scripts (App Script expertise is a major bonus)
- Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and data cleaning & visualization
- Obsessive attention to detail with an extraordinary ability to simplify complex information
- Entrepreneurial spirit and the agility to excel in a high-performance, fast-moving environment

This is a fully remote role structured as an independent contractor engagement.
