The Federal Work-Study (FWS) Student Financial Support Assistant aids prospective and current students in obtaining educational funding and supports financial aid staff with various related responsibilities. The FWS Student Financial Support Assistant will be responsible for the following: - Assisting prospective and current students in navigating the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion process - Reaching out to potential and enrolled students regarding necessary documentation and FAFSA submission - Performing data input of progress and completed requirements in institutional management systems - Processing financial aid allocations within the campus administrative platform - Executing supplementary tasks as directed by the FWS Program Supervisor I understand that as a FWS student I must: 1. Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (minimum 2.0 GPA) and at least 80% attendance. Individual departments may set a higher standard. The requirements for this agreement are: 2.0 minimum GPA ____80_% attendance 2. Ensure that my FWS work does not interfere with class attendance. I may not work on days that I am unable to attend scheduled classes or at times when I am scheduled to be in class. 3. Track my time accurately, and sign/submit my timecard to my supervisor each pay period. 4. Be attending at least half-time or actively enrolled for the next term.
