Scotiabank is hiring a Financial Advisor for its Investment and Retirement Planning (FAIR) program within the retail branch network. As a member of our branch sales team, your primary role is to establish and deepen investment and primary banking relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients and referrals, contributing to the team's success by meeting or exceeding deposit and investment sales goals.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-depth client reviews including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning utilizing financial planning skills and tools.
- Exhibit natural curiosity to uncover and solve for client needs, delivering trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and a goal-oriented mindset to identify client needs and craft personalized financial strategies and solutions.
- Foster strong client engagement, educate clients, offer insights, and deliver expert advice.
- Build relationships, focus on providing a great client experience, and grow long-standing relationships with existing clients.
