About the Role

The role involves maintaining precise financial records, preparing reports, and supporting audit readiness while working closely with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure data integrity
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Support the completion of statutory financial filings
  • Assist in internal and external audit processes
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Collaborate with teams to collect financial data
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist in the year-end closing process
  • Track and report on financial performance metrics
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Identify and implement process improvements in accounting workflows
  • Respond to financial queries from internal stakeholders
  • Ensure timely submission of VAT returns and other tax filings
  • Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes
  • Contribute to the development of financial policies
  • Verify accuracy of journal entries and adjustments
  • Support financial training for non-financial staff
  • Participate in system upgrades and financial software implementations
  • Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions
  • Assist in cash flow monitoring and reporting
  • Work with external auditors to provide required documentation
  • Help maintain internal controls over financial reporting
