Role OverviewThe Finance Support Administrator provides essential support to the global finance function, focusing on accurate and timely billing operations. Based in Singapore, this role works closely with the Billing Manager and Corporate Controller to ensure seamless financial processes across a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process invoices for assigned client accounts with precision and efficiency
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate client billing records to support financial accuracy
- Support annual and bi-annual billing cycles, ensuring deadlines are met
- Produce consolidated statements summarizing outstanding balances for major clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing inquiries from other departments
- Monitor and manage the central finance mailbox, ensuring timely handling of billing requests
- Conduct regular exception reporting to verify completeness and correctness of billing data
- Support accounts receivable follow-up activities as needed
- Assist in identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies or unreconciled items
- Proactively escalate issues when necessary and contribute to resolution strategies
- Support training initiatives for administrative assistants and interns
- Perform additional finance-related tasks as required by the business
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates must have recent experience in an administrative or accounting role within the financial services or corporate services sector. Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, are essential. The role demands sharp analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required. Familiarity with Oracle, Viewpoint, and SSRS reporting tools is highly advantageous. Experience with electronic billing platforms such as CounselLink, Legal Tracker, TyMetrix, CounselGO, or Collaboration is also preferred.
