Paired is looking for a Finance Manager for a US-based e-commerce client. In this remote role, you will lead financial operations for a rapidly growing e-commerce company, focusing on in-depth analysis, reporting, and strategic planning that directly impacts business growth.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and analyze monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to senior management.
- Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic planning.
- Monitor financial performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive growth and profitability.
- Manage cash flow, including forecasting, analysis, and recommendations to ensure operational liquidity.
- Develop and implement effective cost control measures and financial strategies to optimize operations.
- Prepare financial reports and present findings to the executive team, ensuring clear communication of financial status.
- Collaborate with department heads on budgeting and resource allocation to support overall business objectives.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members to foster professional development and high performance.
- Work with external auditors during annual audits and prepare necessary documentation.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices.
- Proficient in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience leading and developing finance teams.
- Strong understanding of cash flow management and cost control strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience preferably in e-commerce or retail.
- A CPA or CMA designation.
