The Boeing Company is launching a five-year Finance Apprenticeship Programme starting in September 2026. This scheme combines workplace learning on live projects with theoretical study, providing a foundation for a career in finance through rotational placements across different UK locations.
What You'll Do
- Undertake rotational placements across key finance disciplines in different UK locations.
- Perform roles interacting with all areas of the company's Finance functions.
- In Accounting: Support internal & external audits, perform month-end activities including journal preparation, posting and control, assist on group reporting, manage reconciliations and improvements, handle issues management and metrics reporting.
- In Commercial: Create and execute Proposal Plan of Action for bids, negotiate contract terms & conditions, serve as point of contact for customers.
- In Financial Operations: Support control account managers, liaise with Project Managers for forecast inputs, provide variance reporting, collate Estimate at Complete (EAC) inputs.
- In Financial Planning & Analysis: Consolidate forecast inputs for group reporting, collate variance analysis, partner with teams during Long Range Business Plan process, track and report overhead costs.
What We're Looking For

Nice to Have
- 3 A levels or equivalent grade A*-C, and 5 GCSEs (grade 9/A* - 4/C) including Maths and English.
- Confidence or willingness to present and host meetings.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders of all levels.
- A forward-thinking mindset and self-motivation.
- Effective communication skills.
- Attention to detail and high focus on quality outputs.
- An inclusive and enthusiastic approach.
- Data manipulation and analytics skills, with high competency in MS Excel.
