The Sovereign Tech Agency seeks a Finance and Operations Manager (m/f/d) to join our team at INCA – Insurance Core Automation. You will support the management team by efficiently setting up and implementing operational processes that enable our mission to strengthen digital autonomy and secure open digital technologies.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with the commercial managing director in setting up, implementing, and optimizing administrative processes (purchasing, record-keeping, document management, controlling).
- Plan and organize projects related to business operations or administration.
- Handle project controlling.
- Serve as the point of contact for finance, controlling, and payment management.
- Conduct market research and manage approval and procurement processes.
- Perform active knowledge management for all business operations topics.
- Support with invoice verification, especially for travel expenses.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in business administration, public management, administrative sciences, or comparable qualifications.
- At least three years of previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in managing public funds (budgetary and procurement law).
- Proactive approach to work.
- Interest in open source and/or software development.
- Business fluent in German and English.
- Team player who enjoys collaboration, active/open communication, and giving/receiving feedback.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, utilizing modern collaboration tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience with EU project administration.
Team & Environment
You will be part of a small, agile team, supporting the management team and reporting directly to the Commercial Managing Director.
