Cognizant is hiring a Field Services Engineer to join its Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security Services Practice (CIS). In this role, you'll provide hands-on support for IT infrastructure and end-user devices, driving core modernization and secure digital transformation for our customers.
What You'll Do
- Provide Install Move Add Change (IMAC), Break-Fix, and end user support activities as required.
- Provide support for handhelds, laptops, and scanner devices.
- Provide smart Hands and Feet support for across teams on demand.
- Provide Rack and Stack Support for commissioning/decommissioning infrastructure devices.
- Provide support for Manufacturing 'Shop-Floor' handhelds, laptops, and scanner devices where required.
- Perform data collection/preservation activities as they relate to migrations and/or eDiscovery.
- Stage, Build, and Image systems with the standard client image.
What We're Looking For
- Good communication and customer support skills.
- Good analytic and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Windows Operating System.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and basic business applications.
- A minimum of 2 years desk side support services.
- Basic knowledge of networks, telecom, and compute/storage.
