Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is looking for a Field Service Technician - Level 2 to serve as a road-based mechanic performing critical maintenance and repairs on equipment in the field. You'll work on a diverse range of equipment including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and potentially large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil/gas equipment, often in challenging remote locations.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Perform diagnostics and make repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime.
- Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- 21 years of age & CDL license may be required in some locations.
Nice to Have
- Some trade school or equivalent training.
- 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment).
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.
Technical Stack
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
