The Accelerated Agency is hiring a Field Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on engines and power generation equipment. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that involves working in various non-climate-controlled environments and traveling, including overnight trips.

What You'll Do

Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes, valve adjustments, and lubrication
Troubleshoot and repair engines and power generation equipment
Read, interpret, and adhere to safety documents, schematics, and mechanical diagrams
Communicate effectively via telephone and email as part of a team
Work in non-climate-controlled conditions
Travel, including overnight travel, as required

What We're Looking For

7+ years of experience in a technical role with issue resolution exposure in field service on engines
Prior mechanical experience in automotive, power generation, heavy equipment, or diesel engines
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools
Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to succeed
Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight
Strong customer service mindset and demonstrated skills
Technical aptitude complemented by strong business acumen and basic IT skills
Willingness to work in a shift model and be on call
Experience working with electrical or mechanical systems
Fluency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Boundaryless and multi-culture working mindset as a team player
Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision

Nice to Have

Multi-working experience with Jenbacher gas engines in the field, including operational and commissioning work across all engine types
Jenbacher training certifications: FTB, FTA, CT1, CT2, MR6
Mechanical RCA (Root Cause Analysis) research and analysis exposure
