GE Vernova is looking for a Field Service Technician-2 to join our Wind Energy team. This role is essential to supporting the growth of our operation and maintenance services for customers in the region.

What You'll Do

Fulfill all assigned duties for the operation and maintenance of wind turbines on customer-owned wind farms.
Perform testing, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on High/Medium/Low Voltage AC/DC systems.
Provide customers with high-quality, value-added service solutions including SCADA operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Proactively plan and effectively execute all required preventive and predictive maintenance activities for wind turbines.
Perform duties to support wind energy projects as required.
Complete all necessary technical and business documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain and provide accurate information on turbine operations for the project.
Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance.
Perform operation and maintenance activities at heights.

What We're Looking For

A Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
2-5 years of work experience in the power plant industry, with a minimum of 2 years in wind turbine field service or project work.
Consistently high levels of performance in all areas of responsibility.
Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
A customer service mindset.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Team player with a boundaryless approach.
Knowledge of ISO requirements.
Good computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ready to serve as requested by Site Lead or Field Engineer.

Nice to Have

Previous experience in Wind Turbine Operation and Maintenance.
Ability to travel to remote sites within India frequently, often on an extended basis.
