Support Critical Healthcare Software Systems
As a Field Service Engineer specializing in software, you will ensure the reliable performance of oncology information and treatment planning systems used in medical facilities. Your work directly impacts patient care by maintaining the stability, security, and functionality of essential clinical software.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, update, and maintain specialized software products in customer environments, ensuring compatibility with technical infrastructure and full system functionality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and system upgrades to keep software operating at optimal levels and in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Train clinical and technical staff on system operations, empowering them to use the software independently and effectively.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous clinical workflows.
- Follow safety and service protocols rigorously to ensure all activities are performed under secure and compliant conditions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in computer engineering, information technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems is required.
- Fluent in both Korean and English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites across the region.
- Minimum of three years in field service, preferably within the medical technology sector, is advantageous.
Work Environment
This is a home-based role with the expectation of working outside standard office hours when necessary to support customer needs. You will operate primarily in the Busan area, serving healthcare facilities with on-site and remote support.
