DME is looking for a Field Service Engineer to provide technical support and service for our hot-runner systems and injection molds. You will be based in Malaysia and play a crucial role in ensuring customer success with our highly engineered plastic processing equipment.
What You'll Do
- Service highly engineered and customized plastic processing equipment and systems, including hot runners, temperature controllers, and auxiliary injection systems.
- Travel extensively to customer sites to provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
What We're Looking For
- A college degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
- More than 10 years of hands-on experience with hot-runner systems and/or injection molds.
- Strong technical knowledge of mold maintenance, injection processes, and plastics.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and internal software.
- Must be located in an area with no or low travel restrictions, near an airport and a plastics industry hub.
- Fluent in English and the local language.
- A good communicator who can coordinate effectively with global and local contacts.
- A technically strong background in injection molding with knowledge of the target customer base.
Nice to Have
- Proven loyalty and strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Chinese in addition to English.
