LivaNova was looking for a Field Service Engineer - Korea

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure medical devices and systems at customer locations.
  • Educate end users through product demonstrations and hands-on training sessions.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using remote access tools and internet connectivity.
  • Deliver on-site and remote technical support to internal staff and external clients.
  • Restore and repair corrupted databases either in person or from a distance.
  • Assist with integrating new medical devices, gather manufacturing specs, capture live data, and guide developers on data requirements based on client needs.
  • Troubleshoot customer-owned computing equipment when issues arise after software deployment.
  • Collaborate with various hospital departments including IT, surgery, medical records, and perfusion to ensure post-installation success.
  • Instruct clients on proper operation of hardware and software solutions.
  • Create and maintain frequently asked questions documents for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Share feedback with internal teams regarding product performance, technical challenges, and potential enhancements.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all equipment and devices within the assigned product line.
  • Possess in-depth expertise in specific technologies to deliver timely and accurate technical guidance.
  • Serve as a technical advisor on product development initiatives when required.
  • Provide backup assistance to fellow field service engineers as necessary.
  • Pursue ongoing learning to stay current with product updates, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for newly hired field service personnel.
  • Adhere to corporate compliance, ethics, and conduct policies, promoting ethical business practices.
  • Interpret, apply, and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Manage and safeguard company-owned assets such as tools, test equipment, inventory, computers, communication devices, corporate cards, records, and intellectual property.
  • Complete all required reports, logs, and administrative duties promptly and accurately.
  • Develop and follow a personal growth plan with defined goals to sustain technical and industry proficiency.
  • Ensure cost-efficient operations within the designated territory.
  • Collaborate productively with colleagues, distributors, internal departments, and clients.
  • Support distributor field engineers through annual training, on-site assistance, and remote troubleshooting.
