Intuitive is looking for a Field Service Engineer 2 to join our dedicated team. You will be integral to installing, supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining our products within your designated area, ensuring all service agreements are surpassed and customer expectations are consistently exceeded.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical support to end-users and other Intuitive employees.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all Intuitive products and associated equipment within designated timeframes.
- Coordinate and perform system and hardware delivery, installation, and scheduled maintenance activities.
- Conduct training sessions at Intuitive facilities, training centers, and hospitals.
- Manage all aspects of your assigned area, including customer needs, system configurations, and establishing rapport.
- Maintain accurate service activity documentation and complete administrative tasks like reports and inventory.
- Support Intuitive teams to facilitate company goals, such as assisting Sales or training teams.
- Provide feedback to HQ and participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Complete all required training, including product equipment training and professional development courses.
- Maintain all company-provided assets like tools, vehicles, and laptops.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple assignments.
- Ability to travel up to 70% as required by the role.
- Willingness to perform ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
- Reside within a reasonable distance (typically within 30 miles) of the assigned territory.
- Ability to work a flex shift, second shift, or other shift type as required.
- Demonstrate individual characteristics expected of Intuitive personnel such as character, capacity, and energy.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and move wheeled objects up to 1,200 lbs.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Vendor Credentialing approval for operating room access.
- Compliance with all necessary vaccination requirements mandated by the vendor credentialing process.
Nice to Have
- 1-3 years of Field Service Experience.
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience.
- Proven track record of troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- General computer skills.
- Comfortable working off hours with limited support.
- Excellent administrative and record keeping skills.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary Range Region 1: $41-$55 USD
- Salary Range Region 2: $37-$50 USD
