GE HealthCare is hiring a Field Service Engineer 1 - Indiana & Kentucky

Responsibilities

  • Complete scheduled maintenance, functional inspections, and system checks accurately and on schedule as part of training.
  • Support senior field engineers during equipment setup and installation procedures.
  • Collaborate with experienced technicians to perform basic diagnostics and repairs on specified systems.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members and internal colleagues.
  • Develop skills in customer interaction to ensure issues are resolved and follow-up is handled properly, supporting positive client experiences.
  • Engage with clients to suggest additional services that improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay current with administrative duties including timely updates to service records, ordering replacement components, and tracking repair timelines.
  • Use established escalation protocols when necessary and collaborate with regional and national support teams to implement solutions for client concerns.
  • Participate as a contributor within the account team for major customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales teams, identify potential business opportunities, support contract renewals, and help execute revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Prioritize client satisfaction and strengthen customer relationships to become a trusted business collaborator.
  • Stay informed about competitive landscape developments and industry trends.
  • Handle service requests independently without supervision within twelve months of hire.
