McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) to manage an assigned territory, focusing on patient access and reimbursement support for a specific drug. This client-facing role builds relationships with physician offices and manufacturer representatives, delivering education on the payer landscape and available services through both remote and on-site interaction.
What You’ll Do
- Provide on-site and on-demand education to office staff regarding reimbursement challenges and support services.
- Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization processes, Support Center services, and Medicare/Commercial coverage.
- Deliver reimbursement support, account management, billing and coding updates, and claims submission guidance.
- Assist with Specialty Pharmacy processes, Medical Benefit Interpretation, and understanding medical necessity.
- Provide information related to co-pay assistance and patient assistance programs.
- Set up appointments and complete outbound calls to provider offices.
- Interface with physicians to obtain and provide patient and payer-specific information.
- Monitor program performance for physicians and manufacturer representatives against expectations.
- Research and compile provider and manufacturer representative information for the reimbursement database.
What We’re Looking For
- A 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Field Reimbursement experience.
- Entry-level experience in project management.
- A minimum of 8 years of healthcare-related reimbursement experience.
- Strong experience with Buy & Bill, Retail, and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
- Experience supporting products in areas like oncology, neurology, dermatology, rheumatology, or cardiology.
- Healthcare industry experience, including insurance verification, prior authorizations, claim adjudication, or work in physician offices/clinics.
- Required experience with Medicare and commercial insurance coverage.
- Ability to speak to benefit investigation outcomes and relay regular status reports.
- Strong customer service and problem resolution experience.
- Proven presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities in a changing environment.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong computer literacy, including PowerPoint and Web Meeting experience.
- Must reside within the assigned territory.
- Must be able to travel 80% (approximately 4 days per week) via automobile or plane.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record/MVR.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $76,300 - $127,100.
