Field Installer Role Overview
This position is responsible for installing high-performance security film on existing windows at client locations throughout Louisiana. You'll work on-site under the guidance of a Project Manager, ensuring each installation meets quality and safety standards. The role includes regular travel across the state and requires dependable transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various locations within Louisiana to install and anchor security window film
- Cut and prepare film materials to fit measured openings accurately
- Conduct site surveys to measure doors and windows for proper film sizing
- Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports
- Support project coordination and assist in training new team members
- Collaborate with supervisors to ensure timely project completion
Qualifications
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, particularly due to frequent work in educational facilities. Previous experience in film installation or basic construction is preferred but not required. A high school diploma or GED is also preferred.
Work Schedule & Location
This is an onsite role based in Luling, Louisiana. Work hours follow one of two schedules: Monday through Friday (8 hours/day) or Monday through Thursday (10 hours/day), with variability depending on project demands.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, adjusted based on experience and prevailing wage requirements. A relocation package is not offered.
