Jobgether is seeking a Field Calibration Technician for a hands-on role that combines technical expertise with travel. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of critical measurement equipment directly at customer sites across the United States, supporting a diverse range of industries.
What You'll Do
- Perform onsite calibration of measurement and test equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Identify and correct out-of-tolerance conditions through adjustments or minor repairs.
- Maintain and document calibration results with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of calibration standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on services and potential equipment needs.
- Submit all required administrative and travel documentation promptly.
- Collaborate with the internal lab team when not traveling to support ongoing calibration operations.
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience (2–5 years).
- Prior calibration experience or equivalent training with commercial or biomedical measurement and test equipment.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database systems.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills; able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 75 lbs, and stand for extended periods.
Nice to Have
- Military PMEL training or equivalent technical background.

Work Mode
