Role Overview
This position is responsible for providing on-site calibration services to clients across the Norfolk, Virginia region. As a Field Calibration Technician, you'll operate independently, traveling directly to customer facilities to maintain and verify the performance of test and measurement instruments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct calibration of precision equipment at client locations
- Record and maintain accurate calibration data
- Verify that instruments meet established performance and compliance standards
- Follow defined calibration procedures and industry best practices
- Manage travel logistics to serve regional customer sites efficiently
Qualifications
Candidates must have hands-on experience calibrating test and measurement devices. Strong attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to work autonomously in diverse field environments. A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation are required for regular travel within the local area.
