Equip Health is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver specialized remote care for children and adults with eating disorders. In this role, you will use our 100% virtual Telehealth platform to conduct assessments, manage treatment, and help patients achieve recovery. You’ll be an essential member of a dedicated treatment team committed to providing accessible, high-quality care.
What You'll Do
- Manage a high-volume patient case-load effectively.
- Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
- Implement medication treatment plans for eating disorders and co-occurring conditions in a virtual clinic setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, therapists, patient mentors, and family mentors, along with outside providers.
- Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Equip EMR.
- Engage in treatment team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Board Certification as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner.
- Ability to maintain active Family Nurse Practitioner licenses and pursue cross licensing as applicable.
- 3+ years of experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient setting.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent evidence-based care, advancing clinical skills, and a passion for professional development.
- Communicate effectively with patients and patient’s carers, and respond to messages within a timely manner.
- Be curious, enjoy learning, and participate enthusiastically and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Licensed in California.
Team & Environment
You will be a core member of a 5-person virtual treatment team, working alongside a therapist, dietitian, peer mentor, and family mentor. Our collaborative model is central to delivering comprehensive, wraparound care.
