Responsibilities
- Lead the site with confidence, clarity, and commercial strength
- Have full accountability for performance across Safety, Quality, Cost, Service, and People
- Lead a multi-disciplined team spanning Production, Engineering, Technical, HSE, and Warehouse
- Work closely with central and category teams to deliver current performance and build future capability
- Set the tone for culture, develop leaders, and ensure Gateshead remains a great place to work
- Take ownership of budgets and financial performance
- Drive cost control, efficiency improvement, and loss reduction
- Maintain strong, credible relationships with UK retail and branded customers
- Ensure daily adherence to quality and service standards for the Manomasa brand
- Shape workforce experience through leadership
- Strengthen engagement and communication across the site
- Build succession and talent plans
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and accountability
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Full accountability for Safety, Quality, Cost, Service, and People performance
- Experience leading multi-disciplined teams including Production, Engineering, Technical, HSE, and Warehouse
- Ability to set cultural tone and develop leaders
