Facilities Service Specialist Role Overview Essential Job Responsibilities • Facilities Services encompass tasks like artwork installation, workspace reconfiguration, equipment assembly, and maintaining communication with primary client contacts regarding infrastructure and equipment concerns. • Executes comprehensive office transition procedures including relocations, replicating workspace aesthetics, setting up new environments with necessary supplies, ensuring equipment functionality and presentability, managing departures by removing files, packaging personal items, and preparing spaces for subsequent occupants. • Conducts comprehensive daily office space assessments, identifying areas requiring attention such as lighting issues, hallway obstructions, carpet staining, wall markings, misaligned artwork, door security, depleted water dispensers, and kitchen area conditions to systematically address and resolve through departmental interventions. • Supports administrative communication by addressing personnel inquiries regarding workplace conditions, managing requests related to environmental controls, spatial management, key replacements, equipment malfunctions, and logistical challenges to facilitate prompt resolutions. • Provides holistic building maintenance support across electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, carpentry, and HVAC system domains. • Facilitates vendor interactions and serves as intermediary between external service providers and internal personnel for engineering and maintenance matters. • Manages comprehensive office transitions including partner onboarding, workspace relocations, furniture and content transfers, packing/unpacking materials, and managing departing personnel office clearances. • Ensures new team members receive appropriate furniture, equipment, and operational resources. • Handles general clerical and service-related administrative tasks. Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent certification • Minimum two-year professional experience in customer service environments • Demonstrated capacity for multitasking with exceptional detail orientation • Proven ability to resolve challenges with professionalism and diplomatic finesse • Physical capability to lift/move 40+ pounds • Ability to transport packages utilizing standard wheeled transportation supporting 75-pound loads • Sustained physical mobility including extended periods of walking, bending, kneeling, standing, and sitting • Scheduled shift: 10am-7pm Monday through Friday (in-office, non-remote) with scheduling flexibility and potential overtime availability Compensation range spans $21.77 to $26.00 hourly, potentially supplemented by annual performance bonus.
