Stepful is looking for an Externship Placement Coordinator (EPC) to coordinate student placements with externship sites. You will oversee the entire process from student matching through to externship start, ensuring all documentation, scheduling, and communication is handled successfully.
What You'll Do
- Manage externship placements by confirming site assignments, scheduling interviews (if required), and setting student start dates.
- Ensure student compliance with onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and vaccinations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for students and externship sites, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with externship sites by understanding their capacity, preferences, and onboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate records in internal dashboards, tracking student progress and site availability.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience working in a higher education institution coordinating externships, or account management experience in the healthcare industry.
- Are self motivated and able to learn quickly and independently.
- Have strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
- A reliable computer that can handle multi-tasking among many online tools and video-conferencing software.
- High-speed internet.
- A quiet, professional workspace.
Nice to Have
- Have Front, and/or Google Suite experience.
- Have Medical Assistant experience.
