Responsibilities
- Evaluate Pokémon and trading card sets for authenticity and condition
- Determine market value based on rarity, edition, and demand
- Document card details with precision and consistency
- Communicate findings clearly to internal teams and clients
- Stay updated on market trends and collector preferences
- Identify counterfeit or altered cards
- Review submissions from sellers across Japan
- Ensure grading standards are applied uniformly
- Collaborate with cataloging specialists for accurate listings
- Support quality control across card-related auctions
- Provide expert input during dispute resolution
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of card releases and sets
- Assist in improving evaluation guidelines
- Work within deadlines to support auction timelines
- Use digital tools to record and submit assessments
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in card grading or authentication
- Involvement in collector communities or events
- Track record of buying, selling, or trading cards
- Knowledge of other trading card games beyond Pokémon
