Vodafone Deutschland is looking for an Expert Network Deployment to ensure the successful expansion of our fixed-line and/or mobile telecommunications infrastructure. In this role, you will work autonomously across the entire specialist field and guarantee smooth collaboration between all involved parties.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the network deployment for Vodafone Germany's fixed-line and/or mobile networks.
- Independently execute a wide variety of tasks across the entire scope of the specialist area.
- Guarantee seamless collaboration between all parties involved, including external construction supervision, general contractors, and internal departments.
- Regularly coordinate with teams from Planning, Deployment, and Transmission to ensure optimal technical solutions regarding time, cost, and quality.
- Monitor and control the budget and schedules for external construction supervision and general contractors.
- Work with various tools, for example for documenting fiber optic expansion.
- Support end-users and the company's strategic goals.
What We're Looking For
- A completed (technical) university degree or comparable qualification.
- Extensive professional experience of over 5 years.
- At least 4 years of specific experience in a relevant area of responsibility.
- Comprehensive knowledge of telecommunications technology as well as the setup/refurbishment of telecom systems and infrastructure.
- Very good knowledge of procedures, building regulations, and guidelines in cable trenching and installation.
- Very good knowledge of processes and workflows in the Deployment area and adjacent specialist fields.
- Very good professional project management skills.
- Strong communication skills and negotiation confidence when dealing with partners.
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written (B2 level according to CEFR).
