Gartner is looking for an Executive Partner (CIO Advisory) to join our team serving Banking & Financial Services clients. In this role, you will leverage your deep industry and technology expertise to provide strategic advisory services to CIOs, managing a portfolio of 28+ member relationships and developing customized service solutions based on their specific mission-critical priorities.
What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of 28+ member relationships.
- Leverage subject matter expertise to create and deliver customized service solutions for clients using all available Executive Partner products.
- Define and deliver innovative solutions by assessing member Mission Critical Priorities and developing a tailored service plan.
- Conduct a mix of on-site and virtual briefings, including workshops, research analyst visits, roundtables, and webinars.
- Present or facilitate at Executive Partner events where relevant.
- Build a strong partnership with Gartner’s Sales organization to ensure member engagement and business renewal.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of progressive technology exposure in consulting and/or CxO roles, with expertise in areas like AI, BI, ML, Digital Transformation, Blockchain, Big Data, and Cloud.
- Demonstrable experience leading or co-leading large, end-to-end transformative initiatives and critical programs.
- Extensive knowledge of a CIO’s focus areas, the IT industry, leadership, IT operations management, strategy, and trends.
- Demonstrable sales and/or business development experience engaging with CXO-level executives.
- Industry preference for experience in Banking, Credit Unions, Insurance, and Wealth Investments.
Team & Environment
You will be part of a service team within Gartner Executive Technology Services (ETS), collaborating to deliver exceptional value to our clients.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $160,000 - $194,000 USD.
