Standard Chartered is hiring an Executive Director for Rates Trading to develop and implement trading strategy for FX Swaps and Rates Products. This role is pivotal for growing our G10 Rates franchise globally, with a focus on USD rates and FX Swaps, while maximizing Total Product Income.
What You'll Do
- Assist in developing and implementing trading strategy for FX Swaps and Rates Products.
- Maximize Total Product Income through effective end-to-end client risk management and collaboration with Sales.
- Grow the G10 Rates franchise globally with a focus on USD rates and FX Swaps.
- Assist the automation of product offering to clients.
- Provide specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders on matters pertaining to IBOR transition.
- Drive client engagement for RWA optimization to improve the overall FM product RoRWA within G10 Rates.
- Continue to develop and drive global G10 Rates electronic trading strategies and data analytics.
- Increase Standard Chartered's visibility through competitive pricing in G10 Rates products during London and Americas timezones.
- Deepen existing client relationships through regular conversations and by providing market color.
- Work with the global Sales/RM force to identify new prospects and client opportunities.
- Provide the sales desk with competitive pricing and product support.
- Explore new products and structures to increase the breadth and depth of the market.
- Manage risk from client trades.
- Maintain a knowledge base covering issuance and corporate hedging strategies which drive long end swap pricing.
- Break down market dynamics to provide suitable color for Sales.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

- Compensation range: $224,000 USD to $416,000 USD.
