About the Role

InterContinental Grenada (IHG) is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the General Manager. In this role, you will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the executive office, providing comprehensive support across executive, administrative, operational, guest relations, and brand culture functions.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the General Manager's calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Screen, prioritize and respond to correspondence on behalf of the General Manager, including emails, letters and phone calls.
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, reports and agendas for executive meetings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the General Manager and internal departments, ownership, corporate offices, and external stakeholders.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Draft, proofread and distribute communications, reports and documents on behalf of the General Manager.
  • Maintain comprehensive paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, contracts and other materials.
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for leadership meetings, ownership reviews, and brand/corporate visits; record and distribute minutes and action items.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding tasks and commitments made by the General Manager.
  • Operate all office equipment and maintain a well-organized, efficient executive office environment.
  • Manage expense reporting, budget tracking and invoice processing for the General Manager's office.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of resort events, VIP visits and special initiatives.
  • Greet VIP visitors and high-profile guests, ensuring a warm, professional and brand-aligned experience.
  • Liaise with department heads and key stakeholders on the General Manager's behalf.
  • Support the General Manager in managing owner and investor relations, preparing relevant reports and correspondence.
  • Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards in all administrative and communication tasks.
  • Actively promote and embody the Six Senses culture of wellness, sustainability and guest experiences.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required, contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
  • Ensure personal performance benchmarks are maintained and consistently exceeded.
  • Strictly adhere to LQA standards and act on guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of executive secretarial or personal assistant experience, ideally supporting General Manager level in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, competing priorities with exceptional organization and attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and hotel management systems.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, discretion and cultural sensitivity, reflective of the Six Senses brand ethos.
  • Proven track record of building trusted relationships with senior leadership, guests and external partners.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or equivalent; a Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

You will be supporting the General Manager directly, reporting to the General Manager.
