Evolus is hiring a Director, Drug Safety to oversee all aspects of safety and pharmacovigilance for our company. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer & Head of R&D, you will be responsible for safety across our lead biologic product and expanding portfolio of aesthetic products and devices.
What You'll Do
- Interface with various internal departments.
- Oversee safety for clinical trials ranging from Phase I to III and any post-marketing trials.
- Oversee post-marketing surveillance for both drugs and medical devices.
- Sit as a member of the company’s Joint Safety Committee.
- Participate in signal detection assessments and perform risk analysis assessments.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory bodies regarding safety data reporting, collection, and documentation.
- Implement vigilance-related SOPs and ensure uniform, timely processing of adverse event data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- 10 years’ experience in drug/biotech safety, including safety signal detection, data mining, and PV databases.
- Experience working with the full product lifecycle, including post-marketing preparation for global risk management plans.
- Experience with aggregate reports and Benefit/Risk Assessments.
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
- A results-driven approach.
- Extreme proficiency in PC and Apple software/apps including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
- Adaptability and calmness when reacting to change.
Nice to Have
- An MD/DO degree in Health Care is strongly preferred.

You will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer & Head of R&D and be a key member of the Safety team.
