Evolus is hiring a Director, Drug Safety to oversee all aspects of safety and pharmacovigilance for our company. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer & Head of R&D, you will be responsible for safety across our lead biologic product and expanding portfolio of aesthetic products and devices.

What You'll Do

  • Interface with various internal departments.
  • Oversee safety for clinical trials ranging from Phase I to III and any post-marketing trials.
  • Oversee post-marketing surveillance for both drugs and medical devices.
  • Sit as a member of the company’s Joint Safety Committee.
  • Participate in signal detection assessments and perform risk analysis assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory bodies regarding safety data reporting, collection, and documentation.
  • Implement vigilance-related SOPs and ensure uniform, timely processing of adverse event data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • 10 years’ experience in drug/biotech safety, including safety signal detection, data mining, and PV databases.
  • Experience working with the full product lifecycle, including post-marketing preparation for global risk management plans.
  • Experience with aggregate reports and Benefit/Risk Assessments.
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
  • A results-driven approach.
  • Extreme proficiency in PC and Apple software/apps including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
  • Adaptability and calmness when reacting to change.

Nice to Have

  • An MD/DO degree in Health Care is strongly preferred.

Technical Stack

  • PC and Apple software/apps including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Team & Environment

You will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer & Head of R&D and be a key member of the Safety team.

  • Competitive compensation range of $205,000 to $255,000 plus equity eligibility.
