Pharmacierge is hiring an Evening Pharmacy Technician (NVQ3/ACT) to be integral to our evening operations. You will maintain efficient pharmacy workflows and uphold our high standards for patient care and medication safety.
What You'll Do
- Dispense medications accurately against prescriptions, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and UK pharmacy regulations.
- Provide support and guidance to patients and prescribers, responding to clinical and non-clinical queries within your scope of practice.
- Apply your NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician skills and knowledge to actively support the wider Pharmacierge team.
- Contribute to the training and development of dispensary and support staff.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with stock control, including ordering, replenishment, and expiry checks.
- Support safety and quality assurance initiatives, including identifying and reporting discrepancies related to medication safety.
What We're Looking For
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Qualification (or equivalent as recognised by the General Pharmaceutical Council).
- Be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC); candidates awaiting registration will also be considered.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Possess outstanding communication skills and a patient-centric approach to service delivery.
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
Team & Environment
You will be a key part of our dedicated Evening Team within the pharmacy.
