IDIADA is seeking a dynamic EV Charging Project Manager to lead and oversee electric vehicle charging projects from conception to completion. The candidate will manage cross-functional projects working with plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles, coordinating technical expertise in charging technologies while ensuring project delivery excellence.
Currently IDIADA collaborates in conductive and inductive charging technologies from light duty to heavy duty vehicles, and this role will be instrumental in driving these initiatives forward.
One of the main challenges of this sector is to develop and validate safe and reliable high power charging systems which enable that electric mobility becomes accessible and attractive for all types of electrified vehicles - and this role will ensure projects meet these objectives on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for charging technology projects
- Stakeholder Management: Interface with customers, suppliers of charging equipment, and internal teams to ensure project alignment
- Quality & Safety Oversight: Ensure all charging tests and validations meet safety standards and customer requirements
- International Collaboration & Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects with other Business Units across different regions and markets
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the development lifecycle
- Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, resources, and deliverables
- Technical Coordination: Oversee charge testing activities in workshops and field environments
- Reporting & Communication: Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management
