Responsibilities
- Analyze clinical and operational workflows to identify opportunities for optimization within EPIC/Cerner systems.
- Configure, test, and maintain modules in EPIC/Cerner according to business and healthcare requirements.
- Collaborate with clinicians, stakeholders, and IT teams to translate functional needs into system solutions.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions, documentation, and functional specifications.
- Perform system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and support go-live activities.
- Troubleshoot system issues, analyze root causes, and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
- Ensure data integrity, system performance, and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA or equivalent).
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
- Participate in change management processes and ensure proper documentation of system changes.
